Karl

This is Karl's biggest endeavor to date: an all original CD with award winning songs, performed by an amazing all-star cast from around the country including Tim Reynolds, Eddie Williams, Dan Martier, John Toomey, Elaine Dempsey and many more. Release date: May 8th, 2015.

Karl

Karl Werne's single release, "It's Christmas" is a thoughtful exploration of the Holiday season, balancing between the joyous feeling of celebration in the air and the cynical view of greed and commercialism that can often go with it.
Karl calls on his madrigal choir experience to create an instant classic Christmas song ... that quickly takes a left turn to illustrate the disharmony of a world at odds and its warped treatment of such a revered holiday.
This reflection helps to refocus and strengthen the writer's intention, and by the end, the song becomes a beautiful and uplifting anthem which glorifies peace and kindness.     Watch the video
"The bells do not care who you love, they ring because you do ... "

Karl Werne & Eddie Williams: Live at Abbey Road

This 2 CD set is a live recording at Abbey Road Restaurant (Virginia Beach, VA) with saxophonist extraordinaire: Eddie Williams. A very special evening of improvisation and re-arranged cover tunes (plus a couple of originals) in an intimate setting filled with fun and laughter. This marks the very first digital live recording of this dynamic duo taken from a full live performance without overdubs or edits. It is a very nicely captured example of how these two musical friends so thoughtfully and creatively interact on stage.
