PEACE

There's a blinding light that's 15 miles above you
And all your senses say that's what you need to find
I know you're never satisfied when you're striving for perfection
But here's a little thing you might just keep in mind

There are mountains that reach halfway up to heaven
And you can climb them if that's what you care to do
There are roller coaster rides on the edges of the oceans
And there'll be other things that no one sees but you

Let every morning bring a new song to sing
Let every ocean wave bring love your way
And then with kindness speak to the ones you meet
And in time you'll find PEACE within your mind

There's a yearning that you've always been aware of
And it seems lately like it will not go away
And now you find yourself confused in the middle of your journey
And wonder how you'll even make it through your day

There are children that can help you solve your problems
Even your favorite song can chase your blues away
There are miracles at hand through the course of a lifetime
And you can even choose what you will do today
